Renowned Taiwanese Composer: Erhu Performance is Remarkable
Prof. Shui-Long Ma, renowned composer, former president of Taipei National University of the Arts, 1986 Fulbright Award winner, Taiwan
“My personal background is music and I think the Erhu performance is remarkable, especially the interpretation of the essence of the work.
“In terms of choreography, the dancers are very well trained, including the male dancers. Every dancer delivers his message clearly with his body language. This is very rare. I think it’s very good that the story is presented in a very succinct way. It should be promoted to the younger generation.”
